Effectiveness and Safety Study:
Xp Acne Care Body Spray

The effectiveness of the Xp Acne Care Body Spray in improving back acne was tested in 35 patients with mild to moderate acne vulgaris in the back area of the body. The clinical trial was randomized, double-blind and placebo control for 12 weeks. The Xp Acne Care Body Spray was sprayed twice a day, three sprays per area at the back of the body (Right, middle and left) upon cleaned with antiseptic soap.

The parameters assessed include the severity of acne and the number of inflammatory acne lesions.


CONCLUSION:
The result shows that the group treated with the Xp Acne Care Body Spray showed a decrease in the severity of acne that was significantly different from the placebo group since week 9 (p = 0.01) and continued to week 12 (p = 0.01).


CONCLUSION:
In addition, the group treated with the Xp Acne Care Body Spray also showed a decrease in the number of inflammatory acne lesions that was significantly different from the placebo group at week 1 (p = 0.038), week 3 (p = 0.032), week 9 (p = 0.008) and the week 12 (p = 0.002).
